Early morning supermarket spree

I just had an interesting drive to the supermarket. Yes, it’s 2.30am, but I like to do my shopping in the middle of the night - it’s so peaceful wandering around a supermarket very early in the morning and it gives you time to think through any problems or reflect on the day that has been. I loaded up my basket with cans of coke which was silly really because I then couldn’t carry it properly and had to resort to shuffling it around in my arms awkwardly, like a giant overweight baby. To make matters worse, I hadn’t done my hair or makeup, and I’m forever living in fear of bumping into someone I know when I’m looking my worst, so I spent most of my time shopping with my head down, balancing a basket that weighed a ton and trying to avoid anyone I came into contact with. I must have looked a little bit mad!.

About love and distance...

You’ll have to forgive me for being sad today and feeling like hibernating and not coming out until I start back at university on the 8th April. After having my lovely boyfriend staying with me since Thursday night, he left this morning to go back up to Preston as he has lots of work due in soon. He means the world to me and it hurts so much having to keep saying goodbye whenever we see each other…

Us

Poppy, the fairytale cat.

My cat Poppy is like a baby to me, I treat her like a princess and she has free reign of the house, much to my boyfriends dismay… as she frequently likes to jump up on the bed in the middle of the night while we’re sleeping, and as he’s such a light sleeper, he always wakes up in a bad mood with her.

The morning after...

On Thursday night my wonderful boyfriend travelled all the way from his university in Preston (via coach, as the train lines are being rather annoying recently) to visit me in Ipswich, the journey took him 10 hours, which is ridiculous! And I thought I had it bad when it took me 5 hours to get up to Preston via train!.

Learning how to speak Italian?

As previously mentioned in another blog of mine, I have this undying dream to live in Italy, it truly is where my heart is. The only thing that is stopping me moving there at the moment (well, apart from the obvious fact that I’m a university student and currently living off of my student loan) is the fact that I can’t speak Italian.
