My mini adventure to Prague

Last week I was happily exploring Prague in the Czech Republic. I had such an amazing time I can't wait to go back!, so another trip is possibly in store in the near future.

The first thing I noticed about Prague was the beauty of all the architecture, the buildings are all so quaint and old, especially the breath-taking Tyn Church, which is a 14th century gothic style church nestled in between some more modern buildings, it looks very stark and eye catching all lit up at night, peering down at the square below it, and it definitely deserves a look if you ever find yourself in Prague.

I also took a trip to the St. Charles Bridge, wandering across this beautiful bridge you get a stunning view of Prague Castle and the surrounding buildings. The detail on this bridge is lovely, and you will find yourself going a bit crazy with the camera trying to take photographs of everything you see!. We also took a look in the old torture device museum (just off St. Charles Bridge) which was very interesting, if not a little gruesome!.

I stayed in a suite in a hotel named 'Suitehomes', I definitely recommend staying here if you're planning a trip to Prague. Our suite was absolutely massive with a hallway, living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, and we got this for a very low nightly price! definitely worth every penny spent, and when I return to Prague I'll be making sure I stay there again :).

The food we ate in Prague was delicious as well, I hadn't heard much about the quality of food in Prague, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was definitely impressed! I'm a big fan of steak so I had steak twice while I was there and each time it tasted heavenly, the Czech chefs are amazing cooks - especially in U Pravdu restaurant (which was favoured by many locals as well) and Restaurant Braunuv Sklep, both are restaurants I'd highly recommend.

Alcohol is very cheap over there and there are many different clubs to choose from if you fancy a good night out, these reasons make it an ideal place for younger visitors as they’ll never tire of the nightlife that Prague has to offer. Its definitely a lot more than just a party city though, with a lot of culture and attractions to see, you have the best of both worlds - a vibrant city that never sleeps with an endless supply of culture and charm to keep you entertained for the whole of your stay.
